Some information about Kien Giang
Kien Giang is a province in the western region of South-Vietnam. Kien Giang is 240 kilometres south of Ho Chi Minh City. It is home to several ethnic minority groups. They include the Kinh (or Viet), the Khmer (Kho Me) and the Hoa. Kien Giang is endowed with beautiful sites, cultural and historic relics that attract many visitors the year round. These include the vast submerged forests at U Minh, Phu Quoc island and Ha Tien town.
