Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop had a meeting with Chief Executive Officer in charge of Emerging Markets and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Vietnam recently.

The two sides have discussed the cooperation opportunities between the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and Microsoft Vietnam. The Minister also shared 4 key topics of Plan to turn Vietnam to be the power nation in ICT as broadband infrastructure development, IT human resource development, IT industrial production which includes hardware, software and digital content, IT applications.

According to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement signed between MIC and Microsoft in 2007, within 3 years Microsoft will coordinate with MIC to deploy the program in term of IT human resource development, E-Government, software expansion and support to Vietnamese software enterprises approaching with the international markets./.
