The Ministry of Information and Communications(MIC) coordinated with Korea Communications Council (KCC) to hold the Seminar and Forum on Telecoms and TV Broadcasting during 21^st – 22^nd October 2009. At the same time, an Exhibition on the subject also be organized with an aim to showoff and introduce the key products and services in Korean Telecom industry. These activities are in the frame of “Vietnam – Korea Week” from 21^st – 24^th October.

Taking this opportunity, Minister of MIC Le Doan Hop and Chairman of KCC has singed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on telecom and TV broadcasting. Thanks to the contribution from Korean partners, Vietnam has gained many achievements in the field of IT and telecom. This cooperation will help to strengthen the relationship between the two countries in this sector by policies and technical exchange. The signing ceremony on security information between Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team ( VNCERT) and Korea Internet Security Agency ( KISA) and between  Vietnam Television ( VTV) and Korea Institute of Electronics and Telecom Research ( ETRI) also be held during this time.

Through these activities, Vietnamese and Korean experts will have chance to discuss and share the valuable experiences as well as to update the most advanced technology. This event is considered to be good opportunities for the leading experts to contribute the ideas in pushing up the bilateral cooperation between the two nations./.
