According to the information from the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications (VNPT) the 13th Telecomp/Electronics- Internet & IT Show 2010 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City during 17-20 November 2010.
This year’s exhibition area is 1.5 times of the size that’s means around 9,000 m2 as compared with the last year and draws the attention of more than 200 home and international enterprises for participation. The main difference of this year’s expo is Internet & IT show, with an aim to expand the exhibition scale and meet the demand of “ convergence”, ICT development and broadcasting development, that’s the reason why the display services and products will be more diversified and colorful, Mr. Bui Quoc Viet- Director of Information and Public Relations Centre (IPC) under VNPT quoted as saying.
With the staging of the new show, the scope of exhibits will also be expanded and enriched to cover “ Broadband, Wireless & Fixed Network Convergence”; “ Managed services, customer care and management system”; “ Unified infrastructure and relating equipment”; “ Fiber optic communications/ Photonics/Optoelectronics”; “ Games, digitainment and multimedia”; “ Broadcasting and digitalization”; “ Enterprise application software”; “ Web 2.0 & social networking”; “ E-commerce”; “ Internet security”; “ Computer and peripherals”; “ Personal digital equipment and peripherals” as well as “ Green IT”, etc.
Besides, the expos also has the pavilions in electronics and software application for socio – economic life, terminal equipment such as 3G phone, value added software products, online training, e- Government management and distance education.
The high level concurrent symposium will be held at the same time with the themes as follows : Vietnam ICT development- today and tomorrow, Internet application in 3G era and the exploration of the new business mode, The beginning of a new digital entertainment era, Innovative technology in mobile internet and its business opportunities, etc.
Together with IPC and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd ( Hongkong), Vietnam Association of Information Processing ( VAIP) also plays as the joint organizer of the event. By combining the strengths of each party, the three parties cooperation is dedicated to stage a remarkable technological and business exchange playground for ICT players home and abroad.
