The second SEAsia  Telecom seminar was held in Malaysia from 22 -23 July 2009 by Informa Telecom Company with the participation of more than 180 members from 31 telecom enterprises of 9 countries in the region.

During 2 days meeting, the seminar focused on the current hot issues in telecom sector such as : business strategy in global economic downturn, in which it strongly stated the business opportunities in financial services for mobile operators as well as raising the business effectiveness by using capital source and outsourcing service.

VNPT’s delegates joined the seminar with the speech on business strategy of how to keep the leading position in Vietnamese telecom market and round-table discussion with the leaders of South East Asia telecom corporations concerning to the licensing and managing radio band service. Many exchanging ideas has been raised  on the VNPT’s experiences when deploying broadband and Wimax services.

VNPT’s members also had  bilateral meetings with potential partners as : Greenpacket(Malaysia),Metratech APAC(Singapore), Globitel(Gordan) and Computaris (Rumani). Most of the partners recognized  Vietnam’s telecom potential and proposed the business plan through organizing seminars with VNPT in the coming time./.
