Broadband InfoVision Award is the most prestige prize in broadband sector which is held annually by Informa Communications Group(UK). It has drawn the attention and participation of major telecoms corporations and operators from all over the world. Broadband InfoVision Award is an important event in the framework of World Broadband Forum which will be organized from 26-28 October 2010 in Paris, France with the participation of 200 speakers who are the leaders from global telecoms groups of which 125 services providers with the attention of more than 6000 audiences from 4 new groups : Transmission, Data, Access and Service. The jury for Awards are the Chief of Technical Officers(CTO) from the world's leading broadband exploitation companies.

According to the announced list, there are 53 brands listed in the final round for 10 Award items of Broadband InfoVision Awards 2010: The Best Service; Technology and Service for Broadband Access Network; Management and Operation for Broadband Network and Services; Content, Entertainment, Applications and Broadband Home Services; Equipments, Network and Services for Households; Silicon Component-level; Innovation and Advance of Core and Urban Network; Green Broadband; Broadband Innovation of the Year and Broadband Changes our Lives.

The jury evaluated the important initiatives and solutions of VNPT in broadband services and infrastructure development in Vietnam in 2009 and 2010. The result has been shown that the achievements which VNPT gained in this sector has created the significant influences to the telecom sector and contributed to the national socio-economic development. Especially, broadband infrastructure and services provided by VNPT ( which accounting for 75% of market share) has been changing life and working style of the citizens from the urban to rural areas in Internet information and knowledge economy approaching .

VNPT entering the final round for the Broadband InfoVision Awards and being one of 4 excellent telecom providers for the nominee of the Award “ Broadband changes our lives” has confirmed the outstanding progress and great contributions of VNPT in telecom development in general and in broadband in particular. Thanks to the broadband information and internet services provided VNPT, life and the society in Vietnam have been changed so much. This event will mark a new height in development of VNPT not only in Vietnam but also in international arena./.
